Every great project starts with humble beginnings. Before 2015 I thought that Minecraft was just an addictive game that programers had designed to capture the minds of million of kids for profit. Little did I know that this same amazing game would be the catalyst to engaging thousands of students in the field os STEM, mathematics engineering, computer science, architecture, biology and ecological studies. Launching in 2011 this game developed by Mojang has spread across the globe on millions of gaming systems and mobile devices. So amazing is its reach that it now has penetrated into the education system itself as more and more schools look to innovate curriculums by engage students through its latest iteration, minecraftEDU. Once you start, it just gets bigger and better.
